Simona Montesti

Simona Montesi

Born in Fano in 1986, she graduated from the University of Architecture in Florence.
Her approach to architecture stems from a pragmatic reaction to the reading of a need, whether it be on a large or small scale.
In 2007, her first project – the interiors of Autogrill’s first totally eco-sustainable restaurant ‘Ecogrill’.
She moved to Milan and began her professional collaborations with architecture studios; at ZDA – Zanetti Design Architettura, she works in fields that embrace different types of design both in Italy and abroad, always accompanied by research and technological experimentation.
In 2020 she joined Studio Rocchi Architettura, continuing a lively design application that ranges from architecture to interior design, furniture and product design, followed from the concept phase to the actual realisation.
The attention towards the design request, coexists in constant dialogue with the accurate research and consequent proposal of spatial and material solutions.
